Intel Preps Wireless Charging

Posted August 10, 2012 10:49 AM

From EE Times:

Intel may offer internally developed resonant wireless charging to improve the attractiveness of mobile equipment based on its chips such as Intel-based ultrabooks and smartphones, according to a Digitimes report that referenced unnamed sources.View the full article HERE.

Re: Intel Preps Wireless Charging / INVENTORS - DO NOT TRUST INTEL!!!

08/10/2012 10:45 PM

I invented a CPU cooler - 3 times better than best - better than water. Intel have major CPU cooling problems - "Intel's microprocessors were generating so much heat that they were melting" (iht.com) - try to talk to them - they send my communications to my competitor & will not talk to me.

Winners of major 'Corporate Social Responsibility' awardS!!!

Huh!!!!

When did RICO get repealed?"

INVENTORS - DO NOT TRUST INTEL!!!

BTW, I have the evidence - my competitor gave it to me.

BBTW, I am prepared to apologise to Intel if;

• They can show that the actions were those of a single individual within the company, but acting outside corporate policy, and:

• They gain redress on my behalf.

I take full responsibility for this post.

So, Intel stole your heat sink / cooling invention? What kind of technology is able to get 3x+ amount of coolin on a CPU. Among my computer afficianado friends, intel cooling isn't placed in any particular high regard, especially when compared to Zalman or Corsair, etc. Care to explain further? Just curious!

"So, Intel stole your heat sink / cooling invention?"

I didn't say that.

"What kind of technology is able to get 3x+ amount of coolin on a CPU."

New technology.

"Among my computer afficianado friends, intel cooling isn't placed in any particular high regard, especially when compared to Zalman or Corsair, etc. Care to explain further?"

Do you want to buy it? Otherwise, sorry.

I was mostly curious if Intel has utilized your idea commercially yet. Just trying to figure out how you know they took your ideas. Also, we should take this to private messages. Cooling an efficiency are big things for me (I spend a lot of time overclocking) so my questions are strictly piqued by my general interest in the subject, didn't mean to strike a bad chord :)

Oh, goodie! A wireless energy transfer is inherently leaky, big time. The literature reveals 60 - 90% efficiency. The remainder goes - wherever. I would not stand near one with a pacemaker, or any other implanted, or worn on body device.

It appears, that these people with dim understanding will not back off this idiocy, until a big lawsuit bites them in the ass. Well, some learn from other's misadventures, some are harder to convince.
