What is 'Game Mode'?

If you've bought a TV in the last few years, it's likely that TV has a "Game mode." As you've discovered (or will discover, now that you're looking for it), this is not some supersecret hiding place for Angry Birds.

Alternatively, you could just get a plasma screen tv, or (ideally) a CRT television. Only thing with lag is LCD, but most people are so numb to it that it doesn't even matter anymore

Alternatively if you want a proper interactive entertainment centre where you can also play games, set up your computer in your lounge and connect a TV decoder.

Either that or get a game console actually designed to play games.

The TV as a complete entertainment and games centre just isn't there yet.
