I first heard about this awful logo on the radio, it was slagged of so much I looked on line straight away. I cannot believe anyone would go with such a cheap and tacky looking design for such an important event as the Olympics. I've seen far better results arrived at by running competitions on children's programs. Maybe that's what they should have done. Once again I find myself agreeing with good ole' Red Ken (Lord Mayor of London Towne), Don't pay the designers!

Thats a bit defeatist, even as a fan of motor sport rather than athletics! One thing I find inexcusable is that F1, the most petrol headed sport there is, has been carbon neutral for ten years now, athletics? Forget it.
