Whilst reading this, I have to remind myself that Intel motherboards are notoriously unoptimized relative to their competition - GIGABYTE & EVGA to name a few. Allowing Intel to focus on what it does best - processing power for desktops / laptops / tablets - is probably an alright thing to do.

With that said, they have my permission to ramp down the motherboard production line. Go ahead, Intel.
