Two cosmonauts set a new record for the longest Russian spacewalk on Friday (Aug. 16), spending more than seven hours working outside the International Space Station to prepare it for the addition of a new Russian-built orbital lab.

Why ?

It sounds like a 'mine is bigger than yours' thing. Good job, but what has been learned and shared. Somebody, anybody, going back to the moon would spark my interest. If NASA ever want to do Mars, they need to inspire people with something along the way. Watching the TV series UFO might give them some ideas.
