Back in the old days we learned mindfulness by experiencing a few trips to out behind the woodshed where we got our butts beat old school style.

Seemed to cure what today would be considered ADD, ADHD, Autism, Emotional disorders and a few other things as well.

Speaking of mindfulness my wife has herself locked out of her car at work again. She had a spare key on the car and should have had one in her office desk as well. BTW both of those came about from me having had to go unlock her car at work numerous times with a coat hanger.

I am guessing that since both are now at home on the dryer she has used them and forgot to put them back.

I am half tempted to make a tough love/mindfulness learning experience out of this and let her find her own way home.

Remove the door locks and tell her you installed a keyless entry system......

To be honest I have been tempted to do that sort of.

I was thinking about disconnecting the locking mechanism in such a way that when the power locks are triggered they make everything look like it locked but it doesn't actually lock the drivers door any more. Only doing it manually with the key will lock it.
