We need to build that machine thingy in that movie 'Contact'....

and travel through that wormhole thingy...

and travel through that wormhole thingy...

And then in the movie the whole trip gets suppressed by a few people in the US government at a total wasted cost of (what was it, tens or hundreds of billions !).

Finding this link got me curious as to who the author is. In case anyone else is curious, here is a page about him. (I had never heard of him before and certainly am not promoting him. But it's always helpful to find out about an author.)
