Signs of Water Found on 5 Alien Planets

It's easy to be misled by spectral analysis. What looks like water can be hydroxil, HO rather than H20. This has obviously led to the crazy concept of icy snowball comets and various other claims of water on the Moon, etc. It is simply the ionised form of these gas molecules that is created by charge separation in space.

A common occurrence due to the potential differences possible either side of a plasma double layer sheath. Especially so with fast-moving lumps of rock (neg charged) flying towards the Sun (+ charge). What we hear as 'gas jets' are really plasma discharges, and fine EDM etching of rocky surfaces. The chances of water on isolated planets is very low. We have a special case on Earth, if our prehistoric ancestors 'messages' are to be believed.

Wait, let me get this right.... Are you saying that the icy snow ball comets and possible water on distant planets is probably a huge collection of hydroxide ions?

Even if this is plasma, where did all the hydronium ions go? If you are proposing the other part is missing, how is there such a large charge imbalance? Does the imbalance decrease when the comets fly by planets? Do we ever get hydrogen peroxide? If not, why? If so, what keeps the hydrogen peroxide from decomposing into oxygen.....and water?
