How can we allow these volcanoes to continue to pollute our atmosphere? Not to mention the agricultural damage the ash and debris will produce. Somebody has to finally take charge of this disaster. Do we really want to just wait for another Pompei like disaster to do something. Can we just tow an iceberg from antarctica to cool this lava down and protect the Sicilian locals and clear our skies?

Get all of the Environmental Protection Agency's employees and their documents and drop them into the crater. Much carbon dioxide and b---t will be produced. The volcano will be snuffed out by this one great burst of administrative fiat.
