US Seeks Twitter Sarcasm Detector

The US Secret Service puts out a tender for software that can analyze social media, including detecting "sarcasm and false positives".

That must be a load off. No doubt you have given this issue a great deal of thought and reflection.

Have you considered that you think so simply because you do not understand American sarcasm well enough to judge either way? Caveat: this will place some demands on your objectivity. A small price to pay for credibility, yes?
