Plugging Wind Power

While the wind provides just a small fraction of America's energy needs, the goal is a 6% contribution by the year 2020. The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) promotes wind power growth through advocacy, communication, and education. AWEA Executive Director Randall Swisher explains why companies are willing to spend more to incorporate wind power in this CNBC video.

Wind power is much cheaper to tap and utilise , install ,compared to solar , tidal ,sea , you don`t require huge investments and huge dedicated lands for the projects , even though not too efficient but right step in right direction
