Top 10 Power Hoaxes

Posted November 03, 2014 12:00 AM by Engineering360 eNewsletter

Urban legends, hoaxes, and rumors go hand in hand with the Internet, thanks to a mix of pranksters, gullible people, and easily-shared links. My boss has a friend who has made a LOT of money selling PF systems to schools and hospitals in small towns where they probably do not have a licensed engineer on staff.

I thought it is interesting that his friend is a lawyer with sales experience, not an engineer. 'nuf said? -- JHF
