Hershey Co. debuted its 3D Chocolate
Candy Printing exhibit at Hershey's
Chocolate World Attraction on December 19. During the attraction customers
can interact with Hershey scientists and the breakthrough technology. This
includes watching live 3D printing, seeing examples of finished products, and
interacting with a library of 3D graphics showing what they would look like as
chocolate.

"We are now using 3D technology to bring Hershey goodness
to consumers in unanticipated and exciting ways," said Will Papa, chief research
and development officer.
This includes endless possibilities for personalized
edible experiences.
According to Hershey, the 3D printer on display is the
most advanced model in operation today. Hershey worked with 3D systems on the
exhibit. Chuck Hull, founder and chief technology officer for 3D systems, is
excited to showcase the power and possibilities of 3D printing.
Ultimately, Hershey hopes to work with consumers to shape
the future of 3D chocolate printing. At the exhibit, customers take a survey
presented on a large touchscreen and share their preferences on customization
options and product design. Image Credit
