I prefer home built so I get just what I want. 13" motor with 260 Volts and a 1500W controller, Water cooled with additional heat sinks for additional help in the cooling dept. All installed in a 60 Falcon with fiberglass front end, doors, and deck lid. With a little help in the handling department of a IRS from one of my old Lincoln Mark VIII' tubular front suspension for an early mustang from AJE. She does exactly what I want to do when I want to do it. Plus I charge from my solar panels so it does not cost a lot to operate with almost no maintenance once all of the bugs were worked out. They can keep all of the factory pieces they make too many compromises for one size fits all public. What happened to the days of a minimalist vehicle just for transportation to and from work. Then you had the performance cars for weekend fun. I guess I'm just getting old.
