CR4 Daily Digest Email - What You Should Know

There are 4 things I want to know how to do:

1. How to stop receiving webinar emails of subjects I'm not interested in and only receiving webinar emails of the things I am interested in.

2. How to get products and manufacturer listing of Asian and European HVAC companies on global 360.

3. How to post a photo in my reply like everyone else does. ( I use an Android base tablet running lollipop )

4. Clues as where solar eagle gets all of his crazy pictures ( like a furry soapy rat with a rubber ducky on its head sitting in a sink ) ��

...or a hedgehog playing the bagpipes riding a rooster...?

Thanks for your feedback! We are actually working on many of these projects. I realize that the number of webinar emails can be a bit of a headache. The team is going to be taking a look at this in September.

We are constantly expanding the product catalogs available on Engineering360, but it is a slow process right now. We are hoping a major initiative in 2017 will be to really ramp up this expansion.

Which web browser do you use on your Android tablet? Tablets should be displaying the desktop version of CR4 rather than the mobile phone version. We released a new toolbar back in June that should be fully functional for most people. Can you see the toolbar when you post on your tablet?

And lastly, I cannot help you with SolarEagle's photo source. Maybe he will post a tutorial!

First I want to say that cr4 and it's members really try to explain the how & why things work ( devices, materials, systems, operations etc. ) This forum does so as long as a person attempts to present a question in a logical and articulate manner. I have to admit that there are a great many things that I don't know or understand but given the basics I will try to enhance my knowledge base.

I have some questions:

1. I see that a smiley face is called an emoticon, this word appears to be a conjunction of what two words ?

2. What is the purpose of a strike through ? If the person writing the text chooses not to use a word, phrase or sentence, wouldn't it be easier to delete that line of text and rewrite the sentence, or use a different word or phrase ?

3. What is hyperlink ? Can you provide an example of one ? And how is a hyperlink different than a link. Using the word link, are there any other words that attached to the word link that have used ? Such as, hyperlink, super link, sub link, etc. ?

4. Insert a video. The explanation says that the video must be posted to YouTube etc. But the explanation does not say that a photgraph needs to be posted anywhere. It appears that a photgraph can ascertained from a user's personal gallery ( and that is why there is a camera in the tool bar ) , yet a video cannot be sourced from a user's gallery ( even though every tablet, cell phone, etc. allows a user to capture still photography and motion video ) What is the rationale for this decision ?

Strike through can be used sarcastically to share a thought you had AND your rewrite at the same time.

Link is simply an abbreviated way to say hyperlink.

We now allow users to embed video that is stored elsewhere on the internet. One reason why we do not allow you to upload the video directly to CR4 is the file size.
