Seems the IEC people just woke up on the realities of sonalerts applications!

Sonalerts has been known /used since the 60s... Widely used in most hospital environmental alarm applications! They've been used as annunciators for medical equipment alarms, nurse call systems, central monitoring stations, as well as facilities engineering systems.
