Lemurs in Space

The Limbed Excursion Mechanical Utility Robot (Lemur) has the combined attributes of crabs, octopi, and primates – performing tasks in quarters far too small for an astronaut. Using multiple limbs, Lemur can brace itself on the exterior of a vehicle in space, shine a light on the work surface, and screw parts in place. When Lemur has completed its work, it merely swivels its head 180 degrees so it can see its return path, and starts walking…backwards. Lemur already has several generations, with more in the works.

Whoa, I thought you were talking about the little guys in the Kalahari, a la Meerkat Manor on the Discovery Channel.
