After the successful movie "The people under the stairs".. The "real" people under the stairs used some of their windfall to move into a private residence in an upscale neighborhood.

Their upstairs neighbors said they haven't seen them at all, but complain about their strange noises that wake them at all hours.

Winchester Mansion Pantry Doorknobs

I visited my strange neighbor when I was just a child of eight years old. Mrs.Winchester sent me to her basement pantry for a Ball jar of canned peaches.

I had to jump the banister to get to the door. No problem, but I noticed as I turned the knob to the door in the background that I was also turning the knob in the door in the foreground. Needless to say, when I returned, I still did not have the canned peaches she sent me to get.

If you're going to slide down the stair rail, you HAVE to have stairs. Otherwise it's just a rail, and that would be silly.
