I did not see the utility pole coming (couldn't see the forest pole for the trees)

Then it hit me

Away from the coast, the saying changes from "take a long walk off a short pier" to "take a long ride into a near pole!"

My sister and her now ex husband and myself we were going to a trade show, and the facility had like a cemented park like area prior to entering, it was all open areas, with benches and statues and stuff.

As we were talking I noticed my sister and her now ex weren’t watching were they were going, and I said look out for the pole.... and her ex stopped just short of walking into it.. He said thanks.... I responded... I was talking about the other pole... he didn’t get it... but my sister couldn’t stop laughing. You see, her ex was of polish descent.

The path was rated a par 6 with suggested route left, left, right......

At least there’s no water hazard.... as far as the rest... I can psych myself up and overcome.... “be the pole,... now be the tree, now the signpost... now the oncoming traffic....”
