How Do You Know What You Are Worth in Today’s Job Market?

Whether you’re negotiating your salary or planning for a raise, knowing your professional value can help you make sure you’re fairly compensated for the work you do. But where do you find accurate salary information that fits your engineering skills, education and industry?

ASME offers its members an exclusive member benefit – the ASME Salary Services consisting of an annual survey that compiles comprehensive data from thousands of engineering professionals to create salary calculators tailored to your personal information. Even non-members are able to try out the calculators.

ASME offers two different kind of calculators:

The Regression Salary Calculator uses regression analysis, allowing the user to calculate individual compensation results for thousands of possible employment situations. The regression model makes compensation adjustments based on the criteria you select.

The Searchable Survey Data Tool allows you to create customized aggregations of the survey results. This tool is based on the survey data (and sample sizes) and thus is better suited for less specific situations.

The ASME Job Board + Career Center offers many helpful tools and career resources all geared to help you with your job hunt, salary negotiations, resume writing, networking, interviewing and much more.
