Afraid Of Leaks In Outerspace

On impact, small meteor or space debris can create tiny holes into the thin aluminum skin of spacecrafts, effectively resulting in a loss of pressurized air. Astronauts may now breathe a little easier while up in space, as university engineers demonstrated a sensor capable of detecting the smallest of leaks in spaceships. Could this technology have applications here on earth as well with industrial computers, controls, and air/gas handling systems?

Absolutely , industrial utilisation for detection is essential , hazardous chemicals and gases , boilers ,and so.space technology is a boon to mankind were we live in protected environment of earth and apply benefits
