Going Green Can Save Greenbacks

Industry worries that 'going green' for the environment will cost a lot of green. This report from McKinsey lists 250 options that manufacturers can use to reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. The long term cost savings that will result largely from a significant upgrade in existing systems and infrastructure. Is going green worth the cost?

As long as "going green" keeps costs and prices the same or reduces them, then it is good. Doing it out of political correctness, being forced to by laws or taxes is not good. I do not want to pay more to cure a non-existent problem called CO2 emissions. Other emissions, such as nitric oxide, sulphur compounds and particulates are a much bigger problem.

All of you "green" fanatics emit about 2 pounds of CO2 daily just by breathing. So stop breathing. .... [10 minute pause for this to occur] .... OK, now that the fanatics are gone, the reasonable people can do what is sensible and logical. Ooops, wishful thinking, they won't stop emitting CO2, however they will do whatever is needed to stop other people from polluting the air with their CO2, cheerfully killing them to "Save the Planet".


What happens when the most draconian measures do not stop Climate Change? Will the fanatics ever admit to being wrong? Of course not.
