MicroLED Sheds Light on New Apps

A newly developed micro-light-emitting diode (microLED) technology promises to improve miniature lighting applications by offering high efficiency and minimal heat generation, allowing for a simpler and smaller design. The technology is likely to also find use in medical, display, and analytical device applications. Could microLEDs replace regular LEDs or lasers in certain scenarios? Do you know of any other applications that may benefit from this technology?
