Natural Disasters Doomed Early Civilization

Posted January 20, 2009 8:48 AM

From Yahoo! News: Science News:

AP - Nature turned against one of America's early civilizations 3,600 years ago, when researchers say earthquakes and floods, followed by blowing sand, drove away residents of an area that is now in Peru. "This maritime farming community had been successful for over 2,000 years, they had no incentive to change, and then all of a sudden, boom, they just got the props knocked out from under them," anthropologist Mike Moseley of the University of Florida said in a statement.

Yes, the Supe were destroyed by the man-bear-pig. Al Gore will be happy about this new scientific evidence.

I would like to make a poll here in CR4.

Do you believe in global warming?

1 - Yes, and it is caused by human action.

2 - Yes, and we need more pirates.

3 - Yes, but it is caused by other factors than pollution, like solar flames.

4 - There isn't enough evidence to form an opinion.

5 - No, definitely there isn't any global warming.

Solar sources but most of the funding for the current research was from Big al's era and we know the Government always gets what it pays for.
