From TechEBlog:

For those who've always wondered how Flutes were made, then check out this interesting "How it's Made" segment. The flute is a musical instrument of the woodwind family. Unlike other woodwind instruments, a flute produces its sound from the flow of air against an edge, instead of using a reed. A musician who plays the flute is generally referred to as either a flautist or a flutist. Flute tones are sweet and blend well with other instruments. Excellent Video! I played the clarinet in grade school. I had no I idea how much work was involved.

I really enjoyed the video. The flute is an intoxicating and exotic sound. I grew up as a trumpet player, but could not avoid the mystical sound of the flute. I think I was 40 when I decided to learn to play the flute. I took lessons until I could successfully play a duet with my instructor. It was a thrill!

For a technical guy, I think the flute is a perfect combination of technical brilliance and a musical creative outlet. I recommend it for everyone.

The craftsmanship is amazing and the sound captivating.

Thanks for sharing the video.
