Stimulus for Engineering?

Posted March 30, 2009 7:17 AM

Manufacturing moved out. Followed later by engineering. Self investment is coming in the U.S. Will the stimulus cash, or should the stimulus money, find its way to education? Will it hit hard enough in math, science and engineering to energize the next generation or two of American engineers?

The preceding article is a "sneak peek" from Mechanical Components, a newsletter from GlobalSpec. To stay up-to-date and informed on industry trends, products, and technologies, subscribe to Mechanical Components today.

Mc Donalds University is a great example.... oh yeah... lets give some of the "virtual money"(remember??? your new administration claims "not to be printing money.. since they have the ability to create electronically)to fund "virtual universities able to create fake diplomas" . What education????... do you mean the one that allowes professors and pupil alike to barter/sell/trade tests, term papers etc , in x-change for $$$$"

Educate for what may I ask? The moment we create something in our country....is the moment Wall Street, the banks and government send OUR STUFF Overseas...

Lets outsource the stimulus $$$$ to overseas.... then lets outsource the brilliant minds working to represent themselves to the working people of this country. Then lets fire the brilliant minds and call elections of a government for the people by the people.

I'll vote for that..

Last but not least..... best wishes....

Do not reply ... instead outsource self !
