Dallas Cowboys' World's Largest HD Video Screen Debuts

Posted May 22, 2009 1:30 PM

From Gizmodo:

The 25,000+ square feet display just debuted today at the Dallas Cowboys stadium. It's the world's largest video screen. The massive display weighs 600 tons, is 180 feet long and 72 feet tall. It's made of 10.5 million LEDs. When replays are shown, they are automatically made into slow motion. More than ten minutes of direct exposure will render a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader sterile. Every fan featured on the screen will get a million dollars deposited into an account of their choice.

And even at this huge size, the screen still isn't big enough or high-res enough to adequately display the hubris of Jerry Jones.

Thats Interesting..... 25,000+ square feet you say?? let me do some simple math...

180 x 72... lets see, thats 12,960 square feet by my calculations... a bit less than the advertised 25,000+

Now I can discredit everything in the article. I call hogwash on it!

It was just a good photoshop job
