DIY Airsoft Turret Shoots 1500-rounds Per Minute

Posted January 16, 2007 5:11 PM

From TechEBlog:

InventGeek has created a nifty USB or R/C controlled Airsoft Turret gun that's capable of shooting up to 1500 rounds per minute. Instructions. Short video after the jump. So I recommend you go with either USB or RC and not both. Either way after doing some testing and tuning we were able to get our gun up to about 1500 rounds per minute. Or about 25 rounds a second using these cheap guns.

At last, We are another step closer to realising my Dream Machine. I have a 'Secret' formula, If you have seen those round 'Ice Cube' trays, you will get the picture. The dear folk at BASF Pigment Division sent me loads of a suitable 'light-fast' pigment to colour RTV Silicone rubber, "Architectural Grade" 25 year lifespan or longer......A 1500 round per minute Paint Ball Gun in Multiple hues. not just the three primary colours. Then have a large wall as a target/canvas. Did I mention Artist's Rifles?......There could be some fine 'Pointillist' style Wall murals created with such an adapted machine paint-ball gun. The trick of the RTV Silicone Rubber balls is to use them quick, before they cure right through. but have your Ice-Ball trays lined with pre-cured RTV Silicone first, then fill with fresh RTV. Coloured to choice. I reckon a pre-mixer could feed an 'Ammunition Belt' with 256 variations of each hue. then the gun could scan from the top of the wall to the botton....blah blah.
