Very versatile indeed. The extreme in environmentalism and recycling of wastes. I suspect it may catch on in New Zealand where there are in excess of 40 million sheep.

Realistically, although dung is odorous, the smells only occur because it is an active chemical process causing decomposition of mostly cellulosic materials. I doubt that animal manure is any different than human feces. That said, if the decomposition reactions can be controlled/stopped (which they can) and the resultant materials made useful, then a whole new industry could evolve directly from the discharge of your local waste treatment plant.

I do - Animals like ruminants chew masses of fibrous vegetation and have different digestive systems. It's the fibre that pours out the rear end which enables people to make stuff like paper.
