My area of specialisation is materials handling, in particular, transfer chutes in minerals handling plants.
I run scale model tests of transfer chute designs and similar granular flow applications, normally at 1/10 scale.
I have a broad background in process engineering and in pilot plant development in the Chemical and Mineral Processing industries. I was the Principal Process Engineer for the construction of one of the first commercial nanoparticle plants in the world.
I have a keen interest in Chemistry and a very broad general knowledge in the area.
