Been fishing most of my 44 years of life, My Dad even took me while I was still in diapers.

I do lots of fishing just very little catching.

But its my way of getting away from everything & everybody.

I own a little 14 foot John boat with 9 HP engine and a Kayak. I prefer the Kayak. Its much less hassle. Hope to buy a piece of land with my own personal lake some day.

Used to shoot combat pistol competitively but no longer have the time to keep up the reflexes needed to do a decent job. Never really was good enough to even place in the top 10 but enjoyed doing it anyway.

Largest game I've ever hunted was deer. Really enjoy getting outdoors and away from every thing more than the actual hunting. I can't seem to sit still long enough to be really any good at it. That's why I prefer to hunt squirrel and rabbit. Less sitting still and more moving around. Used to hunt squirrel with my 22 cal handgun with red dot sight. But my hands aren't as steady as they used to be.

My father taught me how to use an arc welder as a teenager but I haven't touched any sort of welder in years. Purchasing a welder for personal use has been on my wish list for years but the $ just hasn't been available. But I still like to try and keep up with new developments in welding.
