Have you ever considered searching for the answers to some of the questions you ask here?

I just got 637,000 results by searching.

Why don't you answer the question? Why don't you search google for the answer instead of asking us to....??

Now this reminds me of another active thread here where train drivers call themselves engineers.

Some of your earlier questions indicate that you might drive an electric train?

I don't know about your education, but the first two years of the college curriculum were the same for engineers regardless of discipline where I attended - chemistry was one of the subjects ALL engineering students were REQUIRED to take.

He was absent the day they covered the subject of how to search to search the internet. But what the heck, typing 2 letters and 1 number (CR4) is a lot easier than a multitude of words

Question is basically pathetic, not of any standard other than a very young school boy maybe. I'm gone.

That was another reason anonymous posters should be banned.

Re: Flame Reactions

Sir,

Not all reactions are ionic. An ionic reaction of hydrogen and oxygen would show hydrogen losing an electron to become H+ ion and oxygen gaining two to become O-2. These would then combine. Similar equations could be written for carbon and oxygen.

Much more likely are the free radical types of molecular dissociation at the elevated temperatures of flames. In these, the hydrogen and oxygen have no ionic charge, and are treated as free radicals (which then are chemically very aggressive).

The traditional fire triad of heat, fuel, and oxygen can easily have a fourth component added--reaction or propagation. Most fire extinguishing methods attack one of the three, but a few actually attack the fourth.

Probably a book or resource on fire chemistry would help. Unlike others posting answers to your question, I have not searched (and don't intend to). However, the topic of fire chemistry has been studied for at least 40 years (my father taught in college to fire department trainees back then).

Mo: Try this: hydrogen oxygen flames with negative ionic components

as a search term. Good luck. We would like to know what you find out.

Are you planning an MHD generator?

Re: Flame Reactions

Ions exist in plasma, the temperature of which is far above that found in everyday flames, and in aqueous solution, which does not burn easily owing to the usual presence of dihydrogen monoxide, a global pollutant, traces of which may be found in every watercourse, sea and ocean on the planet; it has even been found in clouds.

Please revisit the question, as it makes little sense as written.
