	what is IS 3739 : 1987? what is the chemical composition for the material?

	You can go to any office of BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS spec from there. If you are located in Mumbai, the BSI office is in Novelty Chambers [Novelty Theatre Building] at Grant Road which is hardly a 5 - 10 minute walking distance from Grant Road Railway Station. I do hope this will help.

	hi The indian standard confirms to dimensional tolerence and not chemical composition. IS 3739 : 1987 - Dimensional tolerances for carbon and alloy constructional steel products by gsk

	At least first know what the standard is about then u can go around finding the chemical composition for the product at the website mentioned
