I don't think you'll want a smooch from our new friend data input.

An awfully foul mouth is connected to his incredible intolerance.

Yup. A full bore Nasty-Gram, addressed to you.

I see that the kinder, gentler version of data input has emerged to walk amongst us. I suspect that more helpful responses might now be available to him.

Acme translation service at your disposal...

"What Test Equipment is equivalent to a Astro-Med MX-8000 Series Data Acquisition?".

Translates as...

"My Astro-Med MX-8000 Series Data recorder has died and I need to get a replacement, but I am to lazy to do my own research to identify a suitable replacement for it. Do it for me".

About right?

I actually did the homework. The Astro_Med MX-8000 series have the whole package in one, it's specialized. You don't have to build your data recorder off of a bunch of software like you have to with Agilent, National Instruments and other vendors... I was just trying to verify if I was on the right path.

Good... then perhaps you should have said that. You have no idea how often the forum gets asked by people to do the work for them.

Looks like a DMX-8000 should work:
