Surface Preparation of SS 202

An internet search for suppliers using a search engine will be faster and certainly more comprehensive than waiting for some odd CR4 subscriber who just happens to know something and can be bothered to respond. Good luck with the search.

• Type 202-austenitic general purpose stainless steel is a general purpose grade.
• Though if that grade is typical for utensils from India, then count me out. Those parts coming from India are of extremely low quality, very thin, bend and deform easily, have poor resiliency and really are the cheapest quality sets of "silverware" I have ever seen (including Taiwan)
• I would worry less about the surface preparation or decorative finish, and concentrate on the quality of the product and it's durability. I just donated about 40 LBS of cheap utensils to Salvation Army from a shed clean out i did a few months ago. The utensils were thin, bent, plain, damaged and poorly made. I wonder how many LBS of SS utensils Salvation Army receives in a day or a week.
• I wonder if they recycle the extremely damaged pieces?
