KFC Serving Fried Rodents?

I smell a rat......er a chicken ruse....

There is a "delicacy" served in Peking, that is based on the mountain rat - this was mentioned in some obscure article over ten years ago, and I cannot verify the source of the information. It was said that the meat was grey and very greasy, not particularly tasty. I for one shudder at the thought of it, but I have been feeling very queasy the last few days anyway, not near hungry enough to try one.

Rat and other small vermin are a staple in the third world diet! Along with a lot more disgusting items like raw cow placenta. YUCK!!!!

When rat is assimilated they smell nice...same old poop and they all smell the same.

As an ecologist, they took a very important niche in the society and plenty of good people even so that they are at the bottom of the pyramid.

In today's society there is a large element of scammers that are looking for a "Payday" where they sue some corporation with deep pockets so they don't have to work or support themselves with some sort of employment. To tell you the truth, it seems like a lot of work to run a scam like that. If I was served that piece of chicken, I would have at least investigated the shape because of its resemblance. Then I would have spoken to management and stated my concerns if I discovered it to be something other than chicken. Please tell me how many of you have an attorney on speed dial where they specialize in cooked vermin? Not many I would guess. It's like the Wendy's fingertip in the chili all over again. If the attorney would have done his due diligence, he would have seen it was a scam and reported the man or at least declined to represent him.

I Working as a chicken cook for KFC. This was my first job after the paper route. That was 1972. They still hand bread chicken, so it starts out raw, with no breading. There is no way any rodent vermin can get into this process, unless it's a stupid employee that does this on purpose.

Or possibly a south Asian employee.

In south indian state of Tamilnadu poor farmers who have no social security eat rats when rain fails. In east asian countries many eat cockroach,rodents,snakes,dogs etc.

I suppose humans can eat just about anything, It's keeping it down that's tough.

Speaking of which I am at work, and work stuff is happening, but I suddenly feel the need to hurl.

That reminds me of a story.. A women was cleaning a chicken in the sink in preparation of a nice chicken dinner for her husband. Later, after going to bed disappointed that he did not come home, She heard a noise in the kitchen. Switching on the light, she was greeted with the sight of her drunk husband leaning over the sink crying.
