Do You Know Where Melamine is Usually Applied?

07/02/2015 5:27 AM

At first, melamine is used in decorative and protective laminates used to manufacture furniture, flooring and fiberboard.

The second application for melamine is impregnating resins and adhesive resins used in the wood-processing industry for production of Particleboard (PB) and Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF).

And also, melamine is used as the raw material to produce various surface coatings, enamels and automotive paint additives. High-quality melamine is also used to manufacture a wide variety of household, commercial and industrial molded products; such as kitchen ware; specialty papers; treat textiles such as upholstery fabrics, flame-retardant clothing, heat resistant gloves and aprons, and thermal liners.

So sorry sir, mixing in with infant formula powders is so terrible thing, but , as a chemical material, it used to manufacture furniture, flooring and fiberboard in decorative and protective laminates.

It would be better to ask someone who cares about these things.

It has not been possible to locate a question that needs a response within the posting.

There is no question this is advertising for a Melamine supplier if you check the member's profile website.

Melamine is a chemical that has many industrial uses. In the United States, it is approved for use in the manufacturing of some cooking utensils, plates, plastic products, paper, paperboard, and industrial coatings, among other things. In addition, although it is not registered as a fertilizer in the U.S., melamine has been used as a fertilizer in some parts of the world.

Melamine may be used in the manufacturing of packaging for food products, but is not FDA-approved for direct addition to human food or animal feeds marketed in the U.S.
