Solar Flow Battery

I'm a huge flow battery fan. to date I've yet to see a commercially available unit that makes sense. this storage for solar looks promising but not ready for prime time.

This is most for big solar plants.

You will need to pump your electrolyte constantly around from your tank through the unit.

Starting this on commercial scale raises plenty of health and environment safety and security questions.

Besides, it requires a lot more of investment and infrastructure.
