EEPROM Reader?

07/18/2007 9:21 AM

Hello all!

So, in my typical methodology I have decided that i don't have enough projects running at the same time.... and thought I should get back into playing with microcontrollers/etc. To this end, i'm looking for a good, "universal" EEPROM reader so that i can extract the operational code from some electronics i want to play with...

A few years ago, I had a reference for a good unit, but of course can't find the info anymore.. booo Does anyone have any suggestions? Preferably ones you have had experience with.

Thanks in advance!

If you are looking to build one I just posted something about that in my blog Workbench Creations, you might be interested in it.

i actually saw that, which was part of what spurred my thoughts :)

I may end up going that route, my only problem right now is time, i'm almost at the point of "if i can buy it... it's better"

thanks for the heads up however!
