A faulty thermostat is a likely cause. Other causes could be some other water blockage, air blockage through the radiator, or a faulty sensor.

Maybe some scale buildup or dirt buildup, or low water pressure...check specs and flow rate...

hopefully you do not have a head gasket breach. That will showup as heating and oil in the water. You might also get some coolant in the crankcase oil.

You could also have a broken/worn vane on the water pump that serves the hot bank,

One of those cheap laser non contact thermometers will tell you if there is such a temperature difference between cylinder banks......

Furthermore, assuming that the left and right hand sensors are identical, swap them and see what happens to the display temps.

There are so many simple and cheap ways to find out if its a sensor or an engine problem, here are just two methods.....the first one will only cost about $25 on ebay....

thank u all for ur comments i quit appreciate but i hv rectify the problems its was a faulty engine interface board whose circuit is controlling the sensor, from all the comments read thus far, thermostats do not have the characteristic of temperature fluctuations its either too hot or very cold and the KTA 50 G3 is built with 4 thermostats and all 4 control the coolant in one directions and not by banks chambers.

once again i appreciate ur kind suggestions.
