Of course it will spur a new wave of bigger more power/memory hungry games/operating systems/games/graphics systems/games/applications/etc. that soon will require even faster chips to keep up.

But my eyes aren't good enough to appreciate it.

Personally, I think Intel would serve us better by building chips that refused to display any "reality" programming and any celebrity "news" just for starters.
