	Good Afternoon, We are an Engineering company based in the Middle East and working throughout the Region. I have 2 queries that you may assisgt me with. 1.Our Iraq group is looking for a on line training programme that we can buy for our employees to study where they can become certificate welding inspectors. 2. An introductory level for Civils training guide. Please can you point me into the right direction. Thank you Hayley Barker Regional Learning & Development Manager Abu Dhabi.

	For Welding Inspector Training, my suggestion would be to reach out to the Organization whose standards you will be inspecting to. For example, in the US that would be AWS: http://www.aws.org/certification/detail/certified-welding-inspector As for Introductory training for Civil... that normally occurs at a University, with further training and mentorship coming from more senior members of your organization during the course of their employment. __________________ Reuters - Investigators found that the recent thread derailment in CR4 was caused by over-weight creatures of lore and request that membership DON'T FEED THE TROLLS.

	The Welding Institute (TWI) from England has branches worldwide and conduct training and / or exams in your area at certain times of the year. I would suggest you contact them.

	You can check with CIBSE ( UK) web site. They have chapter in UAE it seems. Also there are various training institutes in UAE,Oman and other GCC countries . Check with them about the on line courses.

	You have to have at least 2 years of inspection related to welding before the test is given. Just doing an on line course is not sufficient. __________________ If you want to know how well a broom works you do not ask the guy selling the broom or the guy who designed the broom, you ask the guy using the broom.
