Extrapolating to Stellite hard facing on control valve plugs? If so then the answer is yes, but I still don't know who 'we' áre. So it's impossible to say, really.

The part connecting plug is spindle.. i guess he may be trying to ask if the spindle can be directly used as a plug in extreme cases... my best guess at translating this question
