Truck Dock Leveling system

07/23/2007 4:15 PM

I need to find a truck dock leveling system to make up for a 7" +/- difference between the truck dock and the delivery vehicle. The system should be approximately 6 feet wide and up to 8 feet long and can be electrically operated. Any suggestions on a scissor jack system vs. hydraulic system? Or any other suggestions?

Try this link http://www.ritehite.com/ -- we have 58 levelers and dock locks produced by this company and have not been disappointed. Twelve years in service and still ticking--

If the Rite Hite company is too expensive, I believe we have a dock leveler system manufacturer here is arkansas... less labor charges I am sure..

Just a thought

The system we have here is a Kelly system electronic and hydraulic combo. works well and is over 20 years old.

course if you want cheap fab some runners out of steel and let the truck back up them.
