Gizmag? Come on, that's such a crock.

Two samples, out of " more than 10,000 in total", out of the millions of samples available on the planet, hardly proves anything. The odds can't even be calculated.

Does this refute global warming, too?

What would Kram do?

Yes, maybe we should be demanding more scholarly peer-reviewed papers.

Why on earth would life be so special to wait a million years before it emerges?

If life is part of this world it has started with this world.

Yet I still wonder if there is another option to form Graphite out of none bio-genetic Carbon sources. After all we are not claiming that diamonds are bio-gentetic, or do we?

No - not carbon - carbon dioxide is what the warming activists are worried about and tracing to 57 Chevies. Compared to levels present in many past ages, the current level is miniscule. We have flora and fauna developed in a decidedly non-typical Earth atmosphere and we're trying to preserve that which nature will destroy anyhow, despite our efforts.
