Anomalous Thermal Images of the Great Pyramids

11/11/2015 5:42 PM

A recent thermal image scan of The Great Pyramids has revealed some unexplained thermal anomalies.

Some as high as 6 degrees.

The images could be reveal hidden passages or tunnels.

Analysis is continuing on the images.

A question I have about the pyramids concerns the composition of the large blocks themselves.

The quarry from which they were taken shows seashells deposited in layers,as is normal for sedimentary rock.

However, the shells in the stone blocks are evenly distributed, like gravel in modern cement.

For some reason, no one will even entertain the idea of the stones being cast in place, claiming that the form marks would remain on the blocks,

Any concrete mason knows that the concrete is very workable for a considerable time after it sets,so eliminating the form marks would be easy.

I expect this will stir up a lot of controversy on this forum.

Any other explanations for the distributed aggregate?

I've no idea what you are talking about.

"seashells deposited in layers"

"shells in the stone blocks are evenly distributed"

"no one will even entertain the idea of the stones being cast in place"

"Any other explanations for the distributed aggregate"

Any evidence of the distributed aggregate? This is all news to me. Maybe others here are more knowledgeable than I on the subject.

Well, the professor certainly seems to be qualified.

I'll sleep on it.

This is interesting, but from 2008. I didn't find anything newer, except an article about another Drexel professor who is trying to revive this method of creating stone to avoid the CO2 generated in the making of Portland cement.

Anyone else find something newer?

Either "Omni" or "Discover" magazine used to have a section called "Antimatter".

It's funny that no one's looked at this before. Thermal cameras have been around for some time.

Sometimes "antiquities authorities" roadblock planned tests, as the results could prove detrimental to tourism if an unwanted result occurs.

I think, whoever wrote the article should review thermal retention property of materials. The great pyramid with that volume retain heat energy during the day and by night falls this releases the heat energy to the surrounding.

Water in the Ocean acts the same way.

Don't give Ben Carson any MORE wacky ideas.

He already sounds like this is where he was born:

As to his other ideas, aside from 'the pyramids were made to store grain(1)' idea, I'm not saying a word; It'll end up as a political rant.

Notes:

  1. Although, to continue with the pyramids idea, I have some comments:
    1. The pyramids aren't 'hollow,' they don't have the capacity to store meaningful amounts of grain.
    2. Even if they WERE for storing grain, that means you're putting your food and your corpses in the same storage locker. Ick.
    3. Did he get this idea from playing an old version of Sid Meyer's Civilization? In the mechanics of that video game, building the Pyramids Great Wonder helped your population grow, and the mechanics did so by putting a free Granary in every city you owned.
      1. In the game, cities grew a new 'population unit' when their 'food stores' meter was filled. growing the population emptied the food stores.
      2. The Granary building meant that the city would only consume HALF it's food stores meter when growing, thus the city would grow faster.

They've never found any corpse, nor writings or evidence of a corpse in any of the pyramids. None of the mummies found were in pyramids. The is why there is speculation about other uses that pyramids were for, even theorized they were power generators. Even if the large pyramids weren't for grain storage, they have found smaller pyramid structures that were for grain storage.

How's that old saying go? Oh yeah, "Pull the other leg, it's got bells on it."

Or to say the same thing more professionally, "Can you provide credible sources to back up your assertion?"
