the Kepler program Saw a flashing light that puzzled many in some of its images, a kooky theory about aliens was spawned.

Dang nab it! I was really hoping for Star Wars type scenario, with huge Death Stars waiting to destroy civilizations, or a Star Trek scenario with a Doom Day machine tearing into planets.
