So then, it is a dream of a combination street lamp, lightning rod, and impalement post for our enemies?

I never vote anyone's GA OT to cancel it out, but going the other way I've got no problem with. There, one OT wiped out.

But, whining about it? That's a different matter!

I fixed Fredski's OT whining with a complimentary GA. :-)

P.S. Sometimes my emoticons don't work, sometimes they do. I click the little thingy in the menu above, select an emoticon, but nothing shows. Oh, well. Maybe I should dump IE and go back to NCSA Mosaic.

I use IE at work and it sucks too.

So, click on the above this window and then right click your cursor and drag it over the you want to use. Press ctrl c and then cancel the window, place your cursor where you want the to end up and press ctrl v.

If that makes sense to you, you're not well either.

But, try it anyway.

Re: Pic of the Day

Okay, I'm trying it right now.

Oooh. That works.

But my CTRL-C doesn't do it, but if I select 'Copy' in the pull down menu that appears, then cancel, then click in the text window, then CTRL-V then it works.

Can you tell?

Thanks for the tip !!

My work computer has IE11 on Win7 (but I would never do this at work of course!! )

I don't have to crtl C crtl V or any other, just point and click.
but copy and paste will get you a smiley each and every time.
What if everyone in the world (that thinks that an assault rifle in a crowded room of associates is a good idea) would just send little sticky notes with stick figure cartoons and emoticons on them instead?
We have to stop the senseless bloodshed - put an end to bad thinking. It is bad thinking that always seems to come up with this notion that a permanent solution to a temporary problem is a good idea. We should confiscate all children of known ISIS members, and educate them properly on true religion - the respect of the religions of others, not they denial of their right to believe. That is what liberty is all about.

The people you are talking about do not know what the word democracy means. It probably doesn't exist in their dictionary! Profiling, in my estimation, is a good thing.

When it comes to finding Islamic Jihadist extremist terrorists, you could easily whittle that down to two words: Islamic terrorists, then down to one word: Islamicists (sp).

If their whole religion is about forceful conversion (heck they don't even get along within Islam), and it is, about Jihad or Holy War, and it is, then how is that even remotely consistent with the notions that created and sustain our great democratic republic?

I concur that profiling is certainly all private citizens need to do, and dropping a dime on suspected terrorists or just suspicious activities is something that is not a right specifically, it is a duty. We are all here to protect our families. It is time to see this for what it is, call it what it is, and get rid of those who wish to come here and produce chaos, and inflict harm on God-fearing, hard-working, family-oriented folks who want nothing more than peace to live out their lives in a "normal" way.

I was leaning away from Trump, but even he is about seven orders of magnitude better than any Democrat within the last seventy years. Was leaning to Dr. Carson, but I am not so sure, in light of his recent apparent lack of insight into dealing with foreign policy.

Right now Jeb Bush is looking stronger and stronger every day, as someone who is level-headed, can deal with a crisis, can handle foreign policy, and can handle any form of terrorism and effectively prosecute war upon the heads of Islamic terror.

In Dr. Carson's defense, I would be surprised if he didn't pick a cabinet fully capable of foreign policy prudence.

Any of the current GOP candidates will be a welcome breath of fresh air, compared to "amateur hour" posers we have now. Dr. Carson will certainly rely upon carefully picked advisers, and listen to them.

Right now, I would just as soon see an overly aggressive President in office than the clown (Anthony Newman looking) we have in the office now. Really? We suffer a sick, cruel islamic terrorist attack, the first word out of his mouth is gun control? Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, Over? This clown is out of control, and is Foxtrot, Uniform, Bravo, Alpha, Romeo, IMHO.

With increasing shakers frequency, I wonder why would anyone wants to live or work in sky scraper such as this.

The country side is such a safe haven, far from the sea preferably best, with lots of guns and preps.
