Get onto the adhesives manufacturers...this sounds very specialised.

I wouldn't do it unless you are absolutely certain that it is appropriate and cost effective.

Give us more detail and maybe you'll get some good suggestions.

So question to you Mr Guest, it looks as if you are trying to build a fluid transfer system out in the middle of no where, do you have a real name and is your intentions to be use as a terrorist in the society of modern engineering?

My reason for this question are legit, due to the nature of my business. It is for the good of this forum to know of such actions and reasons, being the state of the global position and the terrorist movement across the continents.

LOL Holy smokes! Where did THAT come from?? Terrorists??

Yes I agree, I'd investigate the LORD metal bonding adhesives. Extremely strong. In fact, I have seen it used on steel and aluminum sheet metal, where it is visible to see where you applied the adhesive, from the opposite side of the sheet! It really sucks its components together.

This is just for connecting applications. Sealing is another issue altogether.

Al Quida left a flaming bag of dog poop on my door step last night... When will the madness end?!

Did you ever play "moonwalk" with a cat? Four pieces of double-sided carpet tape and a cat is all you need.

Place a small piece of double-sided tape on each of the cat's paws, and bang! They're doing the moon walk!

Then you can put a box with a hole on your head and you and kitty can pretend you're Neil Armstrong and feline copilot... OK, if you wish, the cat can be Neil.

I'm still very curious as to what led LordMaximo to this brow-raising comment. LordMaximo ... what exactly IS the nature of your business, that would warrant such a some-would-say-unrealistically-paranoid comment?

No offense meant. I have nothing to hide

J B Weld. As long as the temperature's not too high. Can fix a cracked engine block.

chemical bonding is inferior to mechanical or atomic bonding.

So?! What's your point?

He (as well as I) am looking for a new glue to sniff! Why else would he have spelled strength as "strenght!"

I like the humour, (or should I spell it as humor!)

By the way I find Belzona superior to JB weld (regardless of specifications claimed by manufacturers).

Best metal bonder is LORD 400 series. (eg LORD 406/19GB). Bonds to steel, aluminum, galvanized, etc.

Contact a LORD Adhesives Distributor to acquire.

You probably don't want an epoxy as they can become brittle in extreme temps, the acrylics perform better on a steel to steel (Metal to metal) application. So avoid the JB Weld and other epoxies, they are the wrong chemistry for your application.

Google "Ferropre". I am not sure you can get it in the states but is is used here in Oz and with great success. If you follow instructions you can glue about anything. You can file and machine it.

No vermin you can't sniff it. Yes "Lord" you could make bombs with it but you can make bombs from straw and diesel. The most bombs are constructed in the mind so we better watch out that no-one uses it for such applications.

Good luck. Ky.

I have been using a two part epoxy from 3M that is proving to be a great product. It's referred to as DP810 and we use it to adhere Stainless Steel to Stainless steel. After a relatively short cure time it proves to be exceptionally strong. It has our welders worried(-; Use it sparingly and get it right the first time.

Have never tried to use it as a seal, but never would.

Use the right tool for the job!

Cheers...
