This topic has been around for a long time, like maybe 30+ years. I doubt that there is any longer much of a meaningful thesis to be written on it.

The duplicate thread has been deleted, so no need to worry about that.

You found CR4 but couldn't find the search box on the right of the screen?

Sounds very lazy to me.

Try an internet search, there are plenty of ideas online.

How about a redesign of the temporary paper fastener known as a paper clip. Trying to avoid all of the previous patents will be an education itself.

Research how to scan 2-dimensional engineering drawings into a CNC machine tool that will then write its own program. Otherwise, it's your paper so it should be your idea.

okay here it is...

the world needs a far better system of defining non-mechanical constraints and requirements for product design.

There is an excellent foundation of thinking in the Triz matrix, but it not easy.

Can you improve it? Can you integrate it with a better visual (maybe schematic based) to help drive computer aided design?
